Partners Overview

Defence Partners of ADF members face a range of challenges due to the mobility of our lifestyle and the unique requirements of ADF work which can include frequent absences from home.

For the most part Defence spouses do an amazing job managing the Defence lifestyle and many accept the challenges as part of the “package”.  Defence have given recognition to the fact that families enable the Australian Defence Force to do their work and have initiated a number of programs to support partners.
