Defence Partners have started Defence Community Groups in most posting locations to provide peer support and tailored services for Defence Families.

These groups assist families cope with facing the unique challenges of Defence lifestyle and are an essential part of the Defence support network.

Defence Families of Australia is committed to supporting Defence Community Groups. The National Convenor advocates for ongoing funding of groups at a national level. National Delegates in each region are available to assist families find the appropriate support required in setting up and running their groups.
