Thank you from the first Australian Study on Families and Deployment

The Timor-Leste Family Study (TLFS) team are receiving the last completed questionnaires for this Australian-first study.

We have received over 3000 questionnaires from ADF members, their partners and their former partners.

This fantastic response will allow us to draw meaningful conclusions on the health, wellbeing, strengths and needs of ADF families.

We extend our appreciation to DFA members who participated for the time and effort they took to provide their information and share their stories.

A report of our findings, based on de-identified information, will be delivered to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs in 2012.

The study findings will be used to guide policy on Government support for the families of past, present and future servicemen and women.
