Health Advice for Partners of ADF members

Partners and dependants of ADF members do not currently have any entitlements to health care linked to their partner’s service in the Australian Defence Force.

Partners must independently seek appropriate health services in each posting location. However Defence assistance is available for recognised partners with special needs.

The ADF is currently trialling a GP and dentistry subsidy scheme for recognised dependants of ADF members in certain locations.
