Feedback on DFA assistance to Defence Families

DFA provides advocacy and information services to Defence Families.

"I have only recently become a member of DFA through the website. I want to thank you and your team for the wonderful delivery of information provided. As a serving member, who is married to a serving member, sometimes I feel like I am a little bit in no man's land, especially when I have gone into situations (particularly DHA & TOLL) as "Mrs Smith", but unfortunately see little customer service nor general respect until I put on my "LCDR Smith" face and voice. This is frustrating, and I am glad that families have a real advocate out there."

DFA relaunched its website in February 2011 with improved Survey, Calendar and News features.

The DFA National Convenor also provides an overview on the needs of Defence Families to Command courses.
